The Program Graduate strict sense in Biomedical Engineering (PPGEB) of UFU offers the Academic Master's course and aims to train senior professionals to carry out teaching and research and technological innovation, able to apply concepts from the fields of engineering, exact and biological sciences to solve problems relating to the health and to the development of science and national technology. To this end, the program is designed to interact strongly with other national and international research institutions, and with the productive sector, aiming at the expansion and qualification of Brazilian industry, related to the areas of knowledge and of biomedical engineering expertise. The PPGEB consists of a single area of ​​concentration (Biomedical Engineering) and three lines of research: Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technologies, Computer Systems and Devices Applied to Health and Health Systems Engineering. Students who complete successfully their Academic Master's course will receive the title of Master of Science.
